Researchers from the LIVELab at McMaster University and McGill University are running a study about watching video game streams with others on January 28th and 29th at 2:00PM.
Participation in this study involves:
- One 90 minute session in the McMaster LIVELab
- Must be 18-25, video game player (plays video games at least 3 days per week), able to read and write in English.
- Complete surveys and participate in a live anonymous chat.
Possible games to be shown during the study include action-adventure (e.g., Legend of Zelda), role-play (e.g., Baldur’s Gate 3), platformer (e.g., Super Mario), shooter (e.g., Fortnite, Call of Duty), or strategy (e.g., League of Legend), some of which may be considered violent or graphic.

This study has been reviewed by the McMaster University Research Ethics Board and received clearance (MREB #7202). Participation in research is voluntary and there are no consequences for not participating or withdrawing from a study after giving consent.
