Thanks for your interest in volunteering at the LIVELab!
LIVELab volunteers assist with:
- Ideas for education and outreach projects (e.g. Spotify Playlists, YouTube Campaign)
- Recording and creating video content for social media
- Concerts and Events (e.g. ushering, promoting on social, hanging posters)
- Research Concerts
- Participation in Research Studies
If you are looking for more hands-on research experience, then we suggest you contact a professor or graduate student directly. Studies in the LIVELab are often conducted by Professors and graduate students associated with the McMaster Institute for Music and the Mind. Sometimes, a better route to gaining experience with hands-on research is to volunteer directly with a professor or grad student (see below).
We will hold one Volunteer Information session each semester for new volunteers.
Intake Deadlines:
Fall Term: September 20, 2023
Winter Term: January 31, 2024
