The first McMaster Institute for Music and the Mind (MIMM) Journal Club meeting for 2009/2010 will be held on Friday, September 18 @ 12:30pm in room 204. Meetings will be held monthly after that, on either the third Friday of the month or an alternative time agreed upon by the group.
This year we will be reading David Huron’s 2006 music cognition book “Sweet anticipation: Music and the psychology of expectation” over the course of the year (more info here). The book is available on Amazon.ca for under $20.
