Postdoctoral Fellow Céline Marie will be presenting a manuscript reviewing work on connections between Music and Language. The paper is entitled “Transfer of training between music and speech: common processing, attention and memory”, by Mireille Besson, Julie Chobert and Céline Marie.
Céline’s present research focuses on brain plasticity by studying the mechanisms and temporal dynamics of sound processing in healthy adults with psychological and brain imaging methods (EEG). Céline’s current project focuses on understanding the effect of musical experience on oscillatory activity in different frequency bands during sound processing.
