IN-PERSON POSTER SESSIONS-ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN
How To Submit
Please submit an abstract (maximum 250 words) to the Microsoft CMT site on any topic related to perception, cognition, or performance of music and dance. Describe the motivation, methodology, results, and implications of your study. Theoretical contributions are welcome, provided that the connection to music perception and cognition is made clear.
Note: If you are unable to attend the conference in person, you are welcome to submit an abstract with the option of having the poster and a 3-minute explanatory video included virtually on the conference website.
The deadline for abstract submissions is October 10th, 2025.
Review Process
Each abstract will be reviewed by members of the scientific program committee. Early submission is encouraged as acceptance will be sent out on a rolling basis as submissions are received. All submissions will be notified of acceptance by October 17th, 2025.
Final Submission
Upon acceptance, you will have the opportunity to upload a poster and a short ‘teaser’ video (30 seconds) that will be featured in a poster blitz session at the conference. Posters must be a maximum of 4’ x 4’ (122 x 122 cm). Virtual attendees will also have the opportunity to submit a 3-minute video describing their poster and a zoom link for chatting with participants.
All posters (virtual and in-person) and other materials (e.g., videos) will be accessible for several months after the conference on the conference website.
